    Description

For sale is my collection of March 809 pumps that I've been using in our hot water recirculation system over the years.  Back in the day these were called the 809-2" pumps.  They are likely all brass, in which case the current model number would be 809-BR, or 0809-0064-0100.
I have four of these and some spare parts.  Everything is shown in the pictures.  Note that there are only three pump bodies, but four motors.  EVERYTHING IS USED AND AS-IS NO GUARANTEES NO RETURNS.
I will part these out, so if interested in only one or a few items (or all but the broken pump, etc. to save on shipping), just send me a message with what you want and the price you want to pay and if I agree to price I'll create a new buy-it-now auction for that item.  This will certainly save a lot in shipping!
Here is the condition of these four motors (note one doesn't work at all):
SER No. M196351:  This one ran very quietly until recently.  I think I allowed it to run with no water in it for a little while, which isn't good.  Now when it spins up in the morning it makes a bit of a rattling noise for 10 minutes before it quiets down.  It was right next to the main bedroom and the noise was too loud for us when sleeping.  If on the other end of the house or a couple of rooms away, it would have been tolerable; or if used for some other purpose There was one time where it didn't spin up in the morning about a year ago and I had to tap the fan blades with a tool to get it started, but it has never done that again since.
SER No. T074460: I used this one for over 18 years and retired it a couple of years ago.  This one has become very loud.  It still works, but too loud near bedrooms, even when awake.
SER No. M094198: I haven't used this one in over 20 years.  I applied power to this unit and the shaft moved just a little and then stopped.  I spun it with my fingers and got it to begin spinning more freely.  It had been bound up.  Seems to be working again, but could bind again at any moment.  This one is about as noisy as #T074460.
SER No. Q001461: This one is seized up.  I applied power to it and the shaft advances very slowly.  I tried spinning it by hand while power was applied but could not get it to spin on its own.  Perhaps it needs to be disassembled and cleaned, or perhaps the bearings are shot.  It feels gummed up.
