Walker Partners Tungsten stick-out gauge is fast, accurate, and convenient to use. Large easy to read markings. No having to squint and count tiny lines or numbers like other stick-out gauges. Because the best starting point for a tungsten stick-out is the diameter of the lens in 16th, the user simply extends the tip of the tungsten out about an inch, so it can be push back into the correct setting, then lightly tighten the back cap. Then place the tip into the hole that corresponds with the number on the cup you are using. Press down until the lens comes in contact with the gauge. Pull the torch back and tighten the back cap firmly.That's all their is to it. Will accept tungstens up to 1/8”. The gauge is calibrated to use with the most popular lens, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12, 14 and 16. Works with standard torches 9, 17, 20 and 26 styles. Brushed aluminum face, wrapped in Kawasaki Green powder paint.
