You will receive one 30 count package of Katadyn Micropur MP1 Water Purification Tablets. The expiration date is 09/2026. The item number is 8013692. These are some of the best water purification tablets on the market today. They are great for hiking, camping, and emergency use. Kills viruses, bacteria and cysts. Active ingredients: sodium chlorite 6.4%, Sodium Dichloroisocyanurate Dihydrate 1%. Inert ingredients: 92.6%.
For control of bacteria, viruses, and cysts:
Micropur MP1 water purifier tablets are for emergency disinfection of drinking water. When used as directed, the tablets make contaminated water suitable for drinking. Micropur MP1 water purification tablets are for use by campers, hikers, militaries, emergency organizations and anyone needing to drink water of questionable microbiological quality. When added to water, Micropur MP1 tablets release Chlorine Dioxide which is effective against bacteria, viruses, and cysts, such as Cryptosporidium and Giardia.
- Dosage: 1 tablet per liter (35 oz.) of water
- Concentration: 4 ppm in-use concentration of chlorine dioxide
- Treatment time: 4 hours
- Shelf life: 5 years from date of manufacture
- Contents sufficient for treatment of 30 liters (8 gallons) of water
How to use water purification tablets:
Remove the tablet from its foil package with knife or scissors and quickly insert into 1 quart (1 liter) of contaminated water. Allow to react for 4 hours in an opaque container or in the dark to generate an in-use solution of 4 ppm chlorine dioxide. The treated water is now ready for drinking.
