Able to handle fluid temperatures up to 200ºF, the rugged 5-MD-HC is operated by a thermally protected, totally enclosed, fan-cooled permanent split capacitor motor. This type of motor -- along with its glass-filled Ryton volute, magnet housing, and impeller -- provide added protection to your pump against harsh chemicals. Little Giant also offers a 5-MD-HC headless motor option.
