This is a box of brand new Simpson Strong-Tie 16d (16-penny, or 0.162" diameter) smooth-shank bright finish nails, 2-1/2" long.   This is Simpson's N16 part, and is the slightly shorter version of their 16d Common nail (which is same diameter, but 3-1/2" long).  Please reference Simpson's full catalog for more details:

50 pounds of these N16 nails, with around 63 nails per pound, so you're buying somewhere around 3000--3100 nails.
If you're looking at these, you probably already know that Simpson makes some of the absolute best framing nails around.  These drive truer, and hold their loads better.  Also, made in USA!
